AnthonyTyler was adopted for Christmas 2005, and he is a very lucky monster indeed! His mom has created a website just for him and his adventures! Check it out at anthonytyler.com!

SimonSteve

SimonSteve loves adventures! His favorites are going to movies and going for rides in the car. Most of his adventures are local, but that doesn't stop him from having a blast! He also likes comic books, so most of his adventures read like that!

SimonSteve's Saturday Adventure

First, it was a trip to Starbucks. SimonSteve was thirsty!

Making a tour around the table..

The coffee was pretty strong to this little guy, and he started getting wacky!

We started talking about going downtown to catch a movie, and no sooner than it was mentioned, SimonSteve was ready for action..

At the theater, SimonSteve had to have his own seat. He was so excited!

Too excited!

SimonSteve loved the movie (SkyHigh) and ran around like crazy for hours afterward. He fell asleep early, but today he can't stop playing superhero. Hades is getting sick of it.

RomeoTyrone

RomeoTyrone and his new sister MargaretBelle are Monster Nursery's first two monster correspondants! They love adventure and love to share their stories. MargaretBelle is new to the family, so she'll be in upcoming adventures. RomeoTyrone is a tiny veteran adventurer, and has chronicled some of his adventures here!

Hi, everyone! I wanted to share my pictures from my big first outing with Mommy and Uncle Jim.

We headed down the highway in some extreme heat and stopped in Devou Park to get a picture of Cincinnati. I went running for the field but Mommy grabbed me up before I could hide and had me sit on a bench while they took pictures. Something about hawks looking for baby monsters and I shouldn't wander out there by myself.

This is where the opening credits for "WKRP In Cincinnati" were shot. I don't know what they were talking about but I think it was a popular show at one time. And then Mommy couldn't stop singing the theme song for an hour. Drove me and Uncle Jim crazy!

...I feel so tiny!

That night in Lexington we went to the Shakespeare Festival to see Mommy's friend Charlie play a wolf in a show called "Fiddler on the top of the house" or something like that. It was weird...he didn't look like a wolf. He looked like an old guy. And I didn't understand why he got so mad at this wedding thing and...well...Mommy said I'd understand it better when I'm older.
I sat on the ground under their seats and read this thing until the singing started. Then I'd run out to watch that. It was neat (even though Charlie didn't look like a wolf at all)!

I must have fallen asleep at the musical because I woke up the next morning in the hotel room and I got so excited because I heard them talking about seeing a castle that day! I tried to be very patient during breakfast and we finally got back on the road and drove to the castle. But it was disappointing. They didn't tell me we weren't staying in the castle. Nor did they tell me we couldn't even walk up to the castle. I tried to run towards it twice but Mommy kept grabbing me and tried to explain what No Trespassing meant. Sounds like she was making it up if you ask me.

I had a hard time climbing this gate!

Lookie, Girlgoth! I'm sitting on a bat box!!

*Girlgoth edit* - omg that is so cute! *hee*

It was over 100 degrees as we left so they decided to take the long way home using back roads instead of the highway. It was such a pretty ride. We went by all the horse farms and saw lots of neat mansions. After awhile they had to pull over to hide from the sun a little and I heard them mention Paris! I couldn't figure out how the motorcycle was going to get to Paris but I was very excited!

Strange...it doesn't look like Paris...

I was hiding from the sun, too...look closely under the flower pot thing!

I wanted to ride home like this instead of in my little space in the back thing but Mommy said something about helmets and too risky. I think she was just being mean.
I'm more than sure Jim would have been extra-super-careful. But Mommy was stubborn.

So after several more "run from the sun" stops and seeing a couple covered bridges, we pulled into the driveway very late that night. I must have slept most of the time (I was worn out from all the excitement of the weekend) because I woke the next morning in my little space in Mommy's room.

What a fun weekend it was! I've been told I'm going to a place called Kings Island in a week (maybe there will be a castle for me to walk through there!). And then to a place called Washington DC! Yay! I'll make sure pictures are taken!
